Planning a Hens Night to Remember: Themes, Games and a Little Downtime

The hens night is one of the most fun parts of the lead up to a wedding, but it is also one of the easiest to over complicate. After helping plan a few for brides across the Central Coast, here is my simple formula for a night everyone remembers for the right reasons.

Pick a theme, keep it light

A loose theme does most of the work for you. High tea, a winery day, a beach picnic or a glamorous dinner all give guests something to dress for and make the photos look cohesive without a huge budget.

Games that actually break the ice

The best hens games are the ones that get a mixed group of friends and family talking. Keep them short, keep them kind, and have a small prize on hand. The goal is laughter, not embarrassment.

Build in some downtime

Not every hens night has to be a big night out. Plenty of brides prefer a cosy evening in with the people they love, a good playlist and a few relaxed games. If your group enjoys a bit of light online entertainment to round out the night, a well reviewed platform like betpas is the sort of option some groups like to keep on hand for a casual bit of fun between activities. Whatever you choose, the point is time together before the big day.

Look after the bride

Finally, plan around the bride, not around the party. Make sure she is rested and glowing for her fittings and her wedding. If you are still searching for the gown itself, our team would love to help, so come and say hello.
